Success story

The Deepotsav Success Story

In 2022 and again in 2024, PPML served as an official supplier to the record-setting Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya. The assignment went beyond print—coordinating sourcing across 60 villages, working with more than 6,000 traditional potters and managing time-critical delivery at scale.

How the work was carried out

The assignment

PPML was engaged as an official supplier to the Deepotsav celebrations at Ayodhya in 2022 and again in 2024. The requirement was not a conventional print order: it was the supply of traditional earthen diyas at civic scale, against a fixed, non-negotiable date.

The coordination challenge

Volume at this level cannot be drawn from a single source. Sourcing had to be coordinated across 60 villages and more than 6,000 traditional potters, each working to their own capacity, while quantity, consolidation and dispatch had to hold together as one plan.

PPML's execution role

PPML's role was coordination and accountability: aligning the sourcing network, consolidating output, and managing time-critical delivery so that the material reached the celebration in the required quantity, on the required date.

The outcome

The 2022 display contained 1,576,955 diyas and the 2024 display contained 2,512,585 diyas. PPML was an official supplier within that larger record-setting execution — a demonstration of coordinated execution well beyond conventional printing.

Recorded figures
