The early decades established the group’s practical, hands-on relationship with print and allied production.

1. 1948

   Pratibha Press begins

   Pratibha Press was established at Model House, Lucknow, with a 1,600 sq. ft. facility and its first treadle printing machine.

2. 1954

   A calendar division

   Pratibha Calendar Corporation was incorporated at the Model House facility.

3. 1964

   Pratibha Plastics

   A new group venture was incorporated at Aminabad, adding an 8,000 sq. ft. facility for plastic novelty products.

4. 1969

   Screen printing—and a new generation

   Screen-printing machinery was installed at Model House, and Arun Kumar Jain joined the business.

Capacity and organisation evolved as the business moved into larger facilities and a modern corporate identity.

1. 1987

   An additional print unit

   A new Pratibha Press unit opened at Cantt Road with additional single-colour offset machinery.

2. 1998

   The move to Ashok Nagar

   Pratibha Group shifted to Pratibha Bhawan at Ashok Nagar, creating a larger base for the group’s operations.

3. 2011

   PPML takes shape

   Pulkit Jain joined the business, and the printing division was re-established as Pratibha Press & Multimedia Pvt. Ltd.

The next phase combined market expansion, process digitisation and sustained investment across offset and digital production.

1. 2012

   Expansion into FMCG requirements

   PPML expanded its work in the FMCG sector and began handling larger assignments for international clients.

2. 2015

   The digitisation era begins

   Aakanksha Jain joined the business, and investment began in PPML Connect, the company’s in-house ERP platform.

3. 2017

   Offset capacity expands

   A new 28 × 40 five-colour Heidelberg press with coater strengthened PPML’s offset-production capability.

4. 2019

   The digital press section

   A dedicated digital press section was established, including a European flatbed cutting table that opened a new production vertical.

5. 2023

   Digital production reaches new scale

   Continued equipment investment developed the digital section into a broader, multi-application production capability.

The Nadarganj facility brought production, teams and modern working spaces together around the requirements clients bring to PPML.

1. 2024

   The move to Nadarganj

   Production began at PPML’s approximately 1.5 lakh sq. ft. Nadarganj facility on 17 September 2024, with the move completed in December.
