The Role

Good print design has to survive something digital design never encounters: production.

A beautiful file on a monitor still has to be printed, folded, cut, laminated, bound, pasted, assembled or converted into a physical object.

Pratibha Press & Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Graphic Designer who understands both visual communication and the realities of print production.

You will work on a wide variety of B2B communication—from brochures and catalogues to books, retail displays, promotional materials, campaign adaptations and other printed applications.

This is not a role limited to making social-media creatives. We are looking for someone who enjoys layout, typography, artwork adaptation, production detailing and turning ideas into physical communication.

What You Will Do

  • Design and adapt marketing collateral including:
    • brochures;
    • catalogues;
    • leaflets and flyers;
    • posters;
    • corporate communication;
    • books and publications;
    • event and promotional material;
    • retail displays and POP communication;
    • large-format graphics;
    • product and campaign adaptations.
  • Translate client briefs into clear, practical and visually strong design directions.
  • Develop layouts, typography, visual hierarchies and artwork systems appropriate to the final printed product.
  • Adapt approved campaigns across different sizes, languages, SKUs and formats while maintaining consistency.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork in coordination with pre-press and production teams.
  • Check dimensions, resolution, colour mode, bleed, margins, linked assets, fonts and other artwork requirements before release.
  • Work with dielines and structural formats where required.
  • Prepare mock-ups and presentation visuals to help clients understand proposed executions.
  • Review proofs and make artwork corrections before final production.
  • Maintain organised working files, approved versions and final production artwork.
  • Work closely with sales, client-servicing, production and finishing teams to ensure that a design can actually be manufactured as intended.
  • Contribute ideas for materials, finishes and formats that improve the final physical output.

What We Are Looking For

  • Approximately 3–6 years of relevant graphic-design experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating print and layout design, not only digital/social-media creatives.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
  • Practical knowledge of CorelDRAW would be useful in a commercial-print environment.
  • Strong typography, composition and layout skills.
  • Understanding of print-production fundamentals such as:
    • CMYK;
    • resolution;
    • bleed;
    • safe margins;
    • image quality;
    • finishing considerations;
    • print-ready PDFs.
  • Ability to work accurately across multiple artwork versions.
  • Attention to detail strong enough to notice that a phone number, alignment, SKU, language version or dimension is wrong before it reaches production.
  • Ability to receive feedback professionally and iterate quickly.
  • Comfortable working to real production deadlines.

What Matters More Than Software

Knowing shortcuts is useful.

Knowing why something should look the way it does—and whether it will actually work after printing—is more useful.

We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between creativity and precision.

Portfolio Required

Applications without a portfolio should not be shortlisted for this role.

We would particularly like to see:

  • brochures or catalogues;
  • editorial/publication layouts;
  • packaging or structural artwork, if available;
  • retail/POP design;
  • brand adaptations;
  • multi-page design work;
  • print-ready commercial artwork.
